FOC (Friend of the Chicks) Allen Hunt, who hosts a local radio show on Saturday and Sunday nights on News/Talk 750 WSB, will launch The Allen Hunt Show nationally on 25 to 30 radio stations beginning Labor Day from 9 to midnight. The radio program, which will air Monday-Friday each week, focuses on issues where real life and faith come together.
Allen, a former Methodist pastor for 20 years, began the radio show as an outreach ministry to fill the spiritual void in America with faith, hope and love. The show has been broadcasting in Atlanta since 2007. We had the privilege of meeting Allen shortly after his reception into the Catholic Church in January 2008. He was an encouragement to us on our journey into the Church as well.
His show is both thought provoking and entertaining. We encourage you to check it out. Here is the official announcement about his Labor Day Launch:
“The Allen Hunt Show officially launches Monday-Fridays beginning this Monday, Labor Day. 9pm-12mid (EST) each night. We will start on between 25 to 30 stations around the country – from Denver to Spokane to Fresno to Saginaw to Birmingham to Buffalo, and even in Macon, Georgia! And of course, Lakeland, Florida (Mom will be very proud indeed!).
Through the providence and grace of God, we surpassed our goal of 20 stations at launch. Thank you for praying and for generously supporting the show in so many ways as we have prepared for this. You have been the difference and continue to make this unique conversation possible.
The weekend show will continue with Sundays remaining live and Saturdays’ being a replay of 3 excellent hours from that week. For our hometown Atlanta listeners, News/Talk 750 WSB will continue to air the weekend show. We hope they will eventually find a way to air the show during the week after we successfully launch. During the week, you will be able to stream the video of the show live at www.allenhuntshow.com or catch it via podcast. We will also be on XM when we launch. “
