Anna- what a blessing it has been for me to be a part of the Catholic Church. Keep following those stirrings in your heart, for they will lead you closer to Jesus. Stay in touch with us and let us know more about your journey!

Have you looked for a scriptural rosary book online or in a Catholic book store? I use this one:

http://www.amazon.com/Scriptural-Rosary-English-Christianica/dp/0911346163

It's really helpful in keeping track of small scripture verses that go with each Hail Mary during the 20 different mysteries. It also has all the prayers in it, except for the very last one that starts "Let us pray. O GOD, whose only begotten Son..." and the optional prayer to St. Michael. I love my copy!

P.S. I'm another Southern Catholic Chick (currently in RCIA)!

This post was great, I will show it to my wife who is in the conversion process. Origionally a southern baptist from Tennessee, she often speaks of the awkwordness of praying the rosary. Hopefully this will make her feel more at ease.

I loved this posting! I am a Protestant - raised/baptized/confirmed mainline and now in my mid-20's have been participating in the Evangelical church community for a few years. I'm in the process of learning more about the Catholic faith because of stirrings in my heart for awhile now. I totally understand the fumbling and confusion, feelings of not "getting it right." But like you said, God knows our hearts, and I feel certain He is pleased with our sincere efforts. Thanks so much for sharing =)
