If you want to bring back a great Southern tradition, why not bake a pie? Pies are easy to make and are a great sign of Southern hospitality. The Chicks really love pies- some of our best memories revolve around the kitchen table, a slice of pie, and great company. Our favorites include buttermilk chess, pecan, sweet potato, key lime, and apple.
How about you? Did you grow up on pie? Everybody still eats cake, but not everyone still eats pie. We want to bring back the pie. Send us your favorite pie recipes and we’ll share them with all the other chicks…….

I loooooove cherry and apple pie! Especially warm with vanilla ice cream! But, we only had it around Thanksgiving. I’m def looking forward to it.

YUMMY! i love pie! especially my moms buttermilk pie and apple pie, its a classic! I also like my pie with vanilla ice cream heated up! DELISH!

I love pie also. A couple days before Christmas I was heading to a get together at a friend’s house. Not wanting to show up empty handed, I stopped at Dewey’s bakery and picked up a dozen tarts. There were apple, cherry, pecan, lemon, pumpkin, coconut tarts. Everyone seemed to like them.
