Whenever we go on a Chick Trip, we love to stop at the Cracker Barrel. If you are going on a family road trip, a spiritual retreat weekend, or visiting any special Catholic site in the Southeast, you are likely to find a Cracker Barrel restaurant somewhere along the road. If you aren’t from the South, you may still get lucky and find a location in your area.

I recall the first time I traveled out of the South, I stopped at an oasis of civilisation in Ohio, the Cracker Barrel. I knew there would be sweet tea and the green beans would not be all but raw.
